We at SAS believe in core value system that focuses on ethical practice, innovation based high-quality design output, and working based on, collaboration, consideration and precision.

The philosophy of SAS lies in consciously absorbing new discourse in architecture to shape the clients’ aspirations and carving out spaces based on principles of natural light and ventilation as primary factors and activating the connected senses using landscape and natural materials. A sense of holistic living environment is achieved through a curated journey of creating spaces with soul. Across our projects, we take contextual approach and combine it with a strong focus on the tactile and sensory qualities. Our process looks at sustainability through social, cultural, and environmental lenses.

SAS presently comprises of the directors, Akshay Mehta and Yash Mehta, One Associate and Senior Architect with 8 project architects, engineers and support staff, all of whom work as a strong team to deliver the best.

With an endeavour to expand into strategic large-scale projects, we have collaborated with international partners and have begun laying the foundation of becoming Formidable players within the local and global design arena.

Akshay Mehta

An ambitious and enthusiastic architect with global experience in design. His vast knowledge of the industry and formidable entrepreneurial acumen is the driving force behind Svamitva Architecture Studio. He has graduated from RV College of Architecture, Bengaluru and holds work experience with renowned architecture consultants and firms across India and USA. He regularly participates in technology and design workshops across India and Dubai, and believes that learning can come at any time, from anywhere. Owing to his progressive outlook, Akshay firmly believes that global collaboration is the way forward – an ideology that echoes in all that SAS represents. His passion for design and knowledge for technology strengthens the team’s caliber.

Yash Mehta

Yash Mehta is a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and execution. Apart from graduating from RV College Of Architecture, he has worked with various architects and consultants from Ahmedabad and Bangalore. The core of Yash’s design process and aesthetic is a sensory and dynamic approach to consistently delivering contemporary design solutions to the end user. His attention to detail teamed with his proficiency in creating bespoke experiences has allowed him to carve out a niche in the design industry. Being an avid traveler, Yash has done various internships across Europe, and frequently participates in design workshops around the globe. His constant research and experimentation in the design field is a unique factor that contributes in a major way to the team.
