SANGAM / SYLVIA CITY CLUBHOUSE
The design is proposed for a gated colony for better interaction and communication. Ventures such as skill building workshops, exhibitions, and public events were taken into consideration for active participation from the residents as well as visitors.
THE BRIEF
Sangam – “A place where gathering takes place”. As the name implies, it consists of a community space, including clubhouse amenities.

DESIGN
Providing spaces for connectivity amongst the people without compromising the locality’s requirements is the main idea, which was achieved through the design. A lofty compound surrounds the site, with one side opening to a small-scale recreational area. The open ground floor is multifunctional, with a spill out area that can be included by sliding panels. The adjoining spaces, treated with lush greenery, accentuate the ventilation and light for the interior spaces as well. The material palette followed a contemporary and sustainable concept to blend with nature.
